Aurora TRIO Transformerless Three-Phase Inverters: Power One’s TRIO 3-phase string inverters represent a new design paradigm that is growing in popularity among commercial-scale PV systems; particularly rooftop and carport installations.

Deploying multiple TRIO inverters can reduce overall system costs by shortening cable runs and eliminating the external combiners and concrete foundations required by most central inverters.

The 1,000 VDC UL rated input allows more modules per string, which can reduce labor costs but may impact the permitting process in certain jurisdictions.
